CANCER FREE!
I’m truly blessed to be able to say I’m CANCER FREE!!!!! I have to give thanks to University of San Diego California Cancer Center and everyone there that had faith. I must give thanks to the Lazarex Cancer Foundation as there’s no way I would have made it without their help. To everyone that donates to their program – Thank You so very much and may God bless all of you! I pray that everyone has very safe and Happy Holidays!!!

Hello, my name is Daiquan. I live with my family in Indiana. I’m 24 now but I was only 23 when I got diagnosed with a rare cancer called Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Nasopharynx. I was told it wasn’t cancer for months. It was a real roller coaster ride and not a fun one at that! When the doctor finally realized the cancer could have possibly spread I was in stage four.

My doctor referred me to a clinical trial in San Diego, CA. The doctors in California were really amazed that I was still in great spirits and I was walking on my own. That in itself was a miracle! I learned that I’m the youngest in the world with this type of cancer and all that it entails.

I’m my mom’s only child and it devastated my family. I started the trial in March 2013. But we had no money to take care of travel or lodging or anything else for that matter! And then God sent the Lazarex Cancer Foundation with Tami Keeler, their special guardian angel, for my mom and me!! I’m alive today because of this foundation and everyone that donates to this cause. I thought for sure I was dead. I try to stay strong for my mom because I know that she wouldn’t ever be the same again. So I’m fighting for my life and thanks to the Lazarex Cancer Foundation I can! I know that with God and Sponsors and Tami I will make it through this no matter the trials and tribulations that I have to continue to go through. I’ve already been through storms so I know that soon the rainbow will come out and the sun will be shinning for me!!

PLEASE PRAY FOR ME AND MY MOM. THANK YOU. THANKS TO EVERYONE AT THE FOUNDATION AND EVERYONE WHO DONATES!
