Improving Access to Cancer Clinical Trials

Hear why the medical advances available through FDA cancer clinical trials remain elusive for the majority of cancer patients. Learn what you can do to make cancer clinical trials more equitable and accessible.

Erin’s experience as a wife and mother dealing with her [late] husband’s cancer diagnosis and his subsequent death makes her uniquely qualified to support others in similar situations. It also fuels her passion for the Lazarex mission. Mike’s cancer journey revealed many gaps that exist for patients who need access to clinical trials for a chance at hope and life and sowed the seeds for the founding of Lazarex Cancer Foundation.

  • Erin Miller is the Development Manager for Lazarex Cancer Foundation. She is also a passionate patient advocate and a mentor for people caring for loved ones who have been diagnosed with cancer. Read Erin’s bio here.

This year’s Disruptor Awardees are two individuals who are working tirelessly to improve access to cancer care and cancer health outcomes.
